Sat. Oct. 22, 1-4pm, Regalia Construction & Repair Class |
BAAITS is excited to announce the 2nd in a series of classes teaching us our traditional crafts. Sat. Oct. 22, 2011, 1-4pm Richard Sanchez will be leading a “Regalia Construction & Repair” class at the LGBTQ Center in San Francisco. This one day class will allow us to start a project or repair regalia. We would like to stress thinking about exactly what style of regalia, shirt or dress you would like to make before the class. Bring enough fabric, suede or leather to start your project. You can also bring a shirt you have been thinking of turning into a ribbon shirt. Remember you might not complete your project in this 4 hr. class, but this is a great opportunity to motivate us to learn how to start a project or repair an item. Lite snacks will be provided.

We're hoping next year BAAITS will bring back the Wellness Gathering, or who knows maybe even a possible International gathering. Please contact us if you'd like to be on the planning committee for either event..... We like to dream big.... |
