Financial Support
There are many ways in which members of the Two-Spirit community, the broader Native American community, or the general public can support BAAITS. BAAITS is a small, mostly volunteer group, and we are always looking for financial donations to help us rent our office space, pay for our telephone and internet connection, and help to sponsor the events and groups that are so essential to our community. Financial contributions can be made by clicking on the “Donations” link on this page, or by mailing a donation by check to:

Sharing Your Skills
Many people in our community help BAAITS to stay strong by donating their time, creative energy, or special skills to the group. BAAITS is strengthened by collaboration, and we appreciate the strengths and skills each person brings to our group. We always welcome Two-Spirit people to join our leadership group by getting involved and sharing your thoughts and ideas. All people are welcome to participate with BAAITS in some way. If you have skills in grantwriting, organizational planning, video/graphic design/media arts, traditional arts and crafts, drumming or dance, or other skills that can help BAAITS move forward, please contact us to dialogue about how you can help:

Joining Us
The best way that you can support BAAITS is by joining the group. We welcome all Two-Spirit people to the group, and encourage allies to assist us by sharing some of the skills listed above. If you are a Two-Spirit, please see our calendar and join us for our monthly Two-Spirit Roundtables or other current events sponsored by BAAITS. By signing up for our BAAITS listserv, you will receive updates about current events in Indian country, information about how BAAITS and Two-Spirit people are supporting important LGBT health and social policy issues, and our schedule of upcoming events.
